MCI, utilizing its expertise in the field of ICT, is contributing to the advancement of the country's digital healthcare ecosystem with the goal of achieving digital transformation in this sector. Following an evaluation of the challenges within the healthcare industry, three key projects have been identified as priorities: E-Health Operator, Online Drug Distribution, and Self-care and Prevention System. In the E-Health Operator project, MCI will establish a unified electronic services portal to streamline data exchange between healthcare service providers and regulatory bodies, facilitating integrated services and the establishment of a national health database. These efforts will pave the way for the implementation of the Iranian Health Electronic Record system. Under the Online Drug Distribution project, MCI will develop a system that integrates with existing drug production and distribution networks. This initiative aims to enhance patient access to medications and essential supplies, while also enabling monitoring of the entire supply chain, including tracking of medications and specific subsidies. The Self-care and Prevention System, leveraging mobile technology, encourages active involvement of citizens in the healthcare sector by delivering services such as screenings, routine check-ups, recommendations, and more through their mobile devices. Additionally, the system offers standardized educational content, addresses common patient concerns, provides dietary plans, and promotes lifestyle modifications among other services.
